The royals from Belgium in Sicily. Alberto II and his wife, the Italian Paola Ruffo di Calabria, are guests of the countess Rosemarie Tasca d’Almerita, related to the queen as she married a brother. This year the couple decided to spend their Easter holidays in Italy as simple tourists, no institutional visits. They stay in Sicily, since Wednesday evening, at the Regaleali estate of the Countess Tasca d’Almerita, in the middle of vineyards, between Valledolmo and Vallelunga. On Holy Thursday they took advantage of the springy day to visit Mussomeli. Accompanied by the countess Rosemarie and another couple of friends, they visited the historical centre of the town to reach the mother-church where they attended the mass. On Friday they will continue their trip to Agrigento. Sunday at noon they will be at the main square of Valledolmo to assist the traditional meeting between the virgin Mary and Jesus Christ.
