Nero d'Avola

The decision to age the wine partially in wood and partially in steel has permitted us to match the fresh and fruity notes of a young wine with aromas of spices and licorice, which are also indicators of this wine’s good potential for evolution in time.

NERO D’AVOLA

NERO D’AVOLA

Despite its long history, the Nero d'Avola grape has only become widely known and loved in recent years; now, this native Sicilian variety has reached great heights all over Italy and the world. Passion and dedication lie behind our red monovarietal, starting with the low yields in the vineyard which guarantee a high-quality vintage of notable concentration. By ageing it partly in wood and parly in steel vats, we can supplement the fresh fruity notes of a young wine with elegant spices and liquorice which bode very well for further maturing.
